Refund policy

Effective Date: 18 October 2025

1. Purpose and Scope

1.1 This Return and Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs the terms and conditions under which Veilari Jewellery Designing (“Veilari”, “we”, “us”, “our”) accepts product returns and issues refunds to customers (“you”, “your”) who purchase products through the website www.veilari.com.
1.2 This Policy applies to both domestic (UAE) and international orders.

2. Nature of Products

2.1 All Veilari jewellery pieces are handcrafted, limited edition, or made-to-order using natural gemstones and precious metals.
2.2 As such, minor variations in tone, shape, or size shall not constitute defects or grounds for return.
2.3 Custom-made, engraved, or bespoke items are considered final sale and non-refundable once the order has been confirmed and payment received.

3. Eligibility for Return or Exchange

3.1 Returns will only be accepted in the following cases:
a. The product received is damaged during transit.
b. The product is materially defective or incorrect.
3.2 To be eligible for return or exchange:
a. You must notify Veilari within seven (7) calendar days from the date of delivery via email to support@veilari.com.
b. Proof of purchase and photographic evidence of the defect must be provided.
c. The item must be unused, unworn, and returned in its original packaging (including certificate of authenticity, box, and pouch).

5. Refund Process

5.1 Once the returned item is received and inspected, Veilari will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
5.2 Approved refunds shall be processed within fourteen (14) business days using the same payment method as the original transaction.
5.3 Shipping fees, customs duties, and international transaction charges are non-refundable.

6. International Orders

6.1 International customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes applicable in their jurisdiction.
6.2 Veilari is not responsible for delays, damages, or losses caused by customs clearance or international couriers.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Veilari’s liability for any product defect or loss shall in no case exceed the original purchase price of the product.
7.2 Veilari shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

8.1 This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
8.2 Any dispute arising from or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi, UAE.
